Trust Passport

Home hospitality, with trust that travels

Cook for strangers. Leave as friends.

Open your home, share a meal, and collect written stamps from the people at your table. Your Trust Passport carries that record to the next city, so you never arrive as a stranger.

Guests chip in for ingredients only. No one profits from a meal.

How it works

From your first group dinner to a welcome in any city

  1. Join and verify

Confirm your identity and write a short profile of who you are and what you'd cook.

  2. Start at a group table

First meals are group dinners of 6 or more, in community kitchens or co-hosted homes.

  3. Host or be hosted

Hosts set a menu and seats. Guests chip in for ingredients, never for profit.

  4. Stamp each other

After the meal, each person writes a short stamp in the other's passport.

  5. Unlock deeper trust

A verified history opens smaller tables, one-on-one visits and hosting in other cities.

The Trust Passport

A record of how you treat people

The passport is earned by hosting and by being a good guest. It can't be bought, and it isn't a score.

Level 1

Group tables

Dinners of 6 or more in community kitchens or co-hosted homes.

On verification

Level 2

Small tables

Tables of 3 to 5 in members' homes.

3 stamps from 2 different hosts

Level 3

One-on-one visits

Dinner with one host or one guest.

8 stamps, at least 1 earned as host

Level 4

Host anywhere

Host and be hosted in other cities.

15 stamps across 2 cities

Stamp thresholds are proposals for the pilot and will be tuned with real data.

Reciprocal

Guests are encouraged to become hosts. The passport shows both sides.

Graduated

Trust levels gate what you can do, from group tables to one-on-one visits.

Human, not a score

Written stamps replace 5-star ratings.

Portable

It travels with you, so a newcomer arrives in a new city already trusted.

Safety

Safe by default, from the first meal

ID verification

Every member confirms their identity before their first table.

Group-first defaults

Everyone starts at tables of 6 or more before smaller ones open up.

Women-only and LGBTQ+-only tables

Hosts can open tables to a specific community, and guests can filter for them.

Check-in and check-out alerts

A trusted contact hears when you arrive and when you leave.

Host insurance

Hosts are covered for accidents and damage at a Trust Passport table.

Written stamps, both ways

Hosts and guests both write stamps, so behavior is visible on each side.

The pilot

One city. One community. 20 to 30 dinners.

We start small and run every dinner by hand with newcomers, international students or recent retirees. Success means guests come back, and guests become hosts.
